THE RESORT

Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto peak, Palm Springs Tennis Club enjoys beautiful scenery year-round. Palm Springs offers magnificent canyons and scenery; downtown is just a short walk away and offers luxurious lounges and fine restaurants. Known as the "Golf Capital of the World," Palm Springs is home to numerous golf courses. Lighted tennis courts can be found on site along with the resort's own court side restaurant. Guests can also take a refreshing dip in one of three pools or relax in one of five whirlpools

THE AREA

Palm Springs, California, first gained fame as the getaway of choice for Elvis and Frank Sinatra in the 1950s. Today it attracts more retired folk than movie stars, though the lures are still the same: sunny skies, manicured golf courses, a laid-back atmosphere, and oodles of sparkling kidney-shaped pools. The ?oasis? role of this ?desert oasis? is certainly the more talked about, but no trip to Palm Springs would be complete without a hike through nearby Indian Canyons.
